Moonlight shivers with an echo of pain
The newly red sphere is so tempting and strange
But, it's not the moon that calls to my soul
A lullaby beckons me into the daring glow
Almost recognizing the voice in the song,
I feel it's been waiting for centuries long
Snow cascades around me like fire
Cold cloaks me as I near the burning pyre
A rotting bridge sways beneath my feet
It's wooden carcass, so full of defeat
Rose petals are scattered on the path,
Bleeding color in the wake of my wrath
The enchanting light grows brighter still
Calling a destiny I have yet to fulfill
